In case you missed it, the September 2024 edition of the UI Chat podcast from The Interface is out. The podcast is monthly, and covers news from Ubiquiti.

This time we had a special guest: Chris Sherwood from the Crosstalk Solutions YouTube channel! His channel helped me get interested in UniFi way back in 2016, and I’ve watched a ton of his videos over the years. So this was a nice full-circle moment for me, and it was great to get his perspective on Ubiquiti and their latest releases.

We covered the new hardware releases of the Enterprise NVR and Flex Mini 2.5G. On the software side we covered Protect version 5, UniFi Network v8.4.62, and the first two v8.5 EA releases (v8.5.1 and v8.5.5). We also discussed the death of the USG, how much we love ITDRC, Site Manager updates, and some other minor software releases.

I’ve been dreadfully slow with posting things this summer, and I’ve missed linking a few UI Chat shows since May. So don’t forget to check out our previous episodes, like in August when we had the great Jesse Nowlin (@MrJNowlin) from Tab Geeks and my cat on as guests.
